She has zero good songs, she makes the same album over and over. Adele is another one like her.
Kate Bush is the only female artist who does something unique each album.
Industry is awful.

Yeah she’s re-recording her catalogue of everything prior to her 2019 album lover so she can own her own music as unfortunately it was sold without her knowledge multiple times even though she offered to buy it herself Thanks to her re-recording her albums it gave a lot of other artists the chance to stop the same happening to them

This is the lowest charted Courtney Barnett album to date~ (Although this wasn't her best work, but its still exceptionally written and her laid back charm works in her favour).

I can't stand Taylor swift period, so hate the fact she knocked Abba of the top. Surely Voyage sold more copies, advance sells were nearly 111,000 copies and last week they shifted 204, 000, according to OMC swift sold 72,000, so something is serious wrong there...

I think it has to do with demographics: there are probably more ABBA fans than TS fans out there, but ABBA fans are less likely to buy albums than TS fans because, well, we're older. If we're interested in something, we'll buy it straight off, then sales drop off...more than most other releases with younger demographics. I think that's what happened to Duran Duran. After an initial burst of activity, like promo and maybe radio, they usually drop like a rock. The good news is, I can see Voyage hanging in there for the holidays: it's the perfect stocking-stuffer.

i think you may have miscalculated.

figures for this week showed taylor at number 1 with 72,319 copies, whereas abba sold 44,053 this week.

I don’t know if I’m happier about this continuing Taylor’s consecutive run at #1 or the fact that ‘Red [Taylor’s Version]’ debuted with a higher opening figure than the original ‘Red’ album did!

Either way, massive congratulations to her this week! The album is really long, but it’s honestly worth it when the album is this good. :)

Now we wait for Adele to smash all kinds of records next week! 😂

Yeah, ‘Message In A Bottle’ is the immediate standout for me so far!

Forever winter was probably my fav vault track for a while and the revamped girl at home is ten times better than the original.
I’d say the re-recording is ranked pretty highly imo better than the fearless re-record

‘Forever Winter’ was my third favourite on the entirety of ‘Red [Taylor’s Version]’ initially, although it actually dropped off fairly fast for me after the album release, but it’s getting a solid second run in my personal charts now!
