George Michael was the founder of Eighties pop duo Wham!, real name Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou launched a stellar solo career with his Number 1 Careless Whisper in 1984, and went on to score six more UK chart toppers. The chart icon sadly passed away on 25 December 2016.
