Chappell Roan's Good Luck, Babe!, released 5 April via Amusement / Island Records, is an electrifying track transcending the ordinary with its blend of nostalgic '80s synth-pop and balladier vocals.

Good Luck, Babe marks "the first song of the next chapter" following her debut studio album The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess in September 2023.

The song's lyrics describe a relationship with a woman who tries to deny her romantic feelings for Roan and for women in general. Chappell Roan shares, “I needed to write a song about a common situationship within queer relationships — where someone is struggling with coming to terms with themselves. It’s a song about wishing well to someone who is avoidant of their true feelings”. 

In its opening week, Good Luck Babe entered the Official Singles Chart at Number 64, beginning its UK chart journey.
