Tom Grennan is an English singer, songwriter and musician who was born in Bedford on June 8 1995. Tom originally trained to become a professional footballer and played for Luton Town, tried for Northampton Town and Aston Villa, but was encouraged into music after his friends saw him sing a song by The Kooks at a house party. Tom Grennan’s distinctive tones come in part from having four metal plates and screws in his jaw after he was mugged at the age of 18. Tom’s first big pop break came as guest vocalist on Chase & Status’ 2016 song All Goes Wrong. He released his debut album Lighting Matches in 2018.
