
Mabel Alabama-Pearl McVey was born in Malaga, Spain on February 20 1996. The latest in the line of a very musical family that includes her mum Neneh Cherry, dad Cameron McVey (who has worked with Massive Attack, Portishead, All Saints and Sugababes), uncle Eagle-Eye Cherry and step-grandfather, legendary jazz musician Don Cherry. Mabel made her chart impact with the May 2017 single Finders Keepers with KoJo Funds, reaching Number 8. She released her debut album High Expectations in August 2019.
