Mad chart...you me at six had a number 1 album new entry...and the following week had dropped out of the chart 100.

You could sort of say the same for The Vaccines' Back in Love City. It was in the Top 5 on its first week and vanished completely! (Despite still charting the physical sales).
But, like I said in one of the comments, second week drops are very common for not-so established bands as they usually rely on physical/digital sales upon their release.
Streaming sales are occasionally rock genre's weakness (Well, except for Foo Fighters and Royal Blood this year) when you look at the separate charts due to the dominance of established artists in the streaming charts.

If they removed compilations what a different chart it would be.

streaming is dominating the whole charts. I never thought it would dominate the album charts as it is doing, but it is. The problem is as I have said on here before, you only have to play one song or fllick through the songs on an album on Spotify or Deezer and it equates to having listened to the whole album which in reality the so called listener hasn't listened to the whole album at all. So the albums charr position becomes farcicle. This is why streaming should be branded an illegal act. The only true way to have a hit is via actual sales, as it shows that fans of an artist are putting their money where their mouths is. Any fool can stream music but do they actually like what they are hearing? For example you wouldn't go out and spend £5 on a cd single that you are not that keen on, yet you might play it on Spotify as its not costing you anything, yet that listen will contrubute to a chart position which if you understand my explanation you can

In my hometown in Germany there's a guy wo has a barn full of albums. About 40,000 2nd hand Vinyls. It is such a joy just browsing, looking at them, holding them in hands. Pure magic. Streaming doesn't give you any of that. No lasting feelings in streaming music.

I think that's a decent hold for an established pop band.

Where the are Daughty with Dearly Beloved?
Their best album since Baptized.
It's a disgrace they didn't even make the charts.

Not seeing Employed To Serve's Conquering up there in the Top 100 is rather depressing, not even on the physical chart (Definitely an overlooked album of the year).
Also, The Vaccines' Back in Love City avalanched out of the Top 100 on its second week, despite still in the physical charts!

Gold includes tracks from the early 70's...it seems very odd this is still selling enough to go top 10.Surely everyone who bought ion LP and then on Cd has had it...

On the album sales chart, the dullest act on the planet Drake isn't even inside the top 100.
Remove streaming from the chart, it's a joke.

I agree 100% remove streaming for the charts....I can't even Name or sing 5 Drake Songs and he has had like 50 Top 10 in the USA 9 of them last week alone....So stupid the Charts...

Streaming should never have been a main stay on the chart, its a farce. Chart positions should be based on sales only.

Absolutely shocked that Lil Nas X didn't get the #1 album, but I'm happy to see Tion Wayne also finish the week in the Top 5 with him. :)
