Manic Street Preachers are a Welsh rock outfit founded by James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire, Sean Moore and Richey Edwards. The band scored their first hits in 1991 - and continued their career after the tragic disappearance of Edwards in 1995. Their 1998 album This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours hit Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart, and was the album to also spawn their first Number 1 single - If You Tolerate This Then Your Children Will Be Next.
