Kylie gets her 7th UK #1 chart topper!!!! It's unbelievable after a 31 year long career she still is heading charts. Definitely, the only queen of Pop which remains!

Sadly the UK is the only market she still any success.

Dont care Jules, UK, Europe and Australia have always been her strong markets. The fact that after 31 years she still gets #1's its incredible. 99% of her contemporary artists are retired and she is still on top form!

Kylie is great but Madonna is the Queen of Pop. Despite "Madame X" was #02 on the chartst it's still the highest selling #02 of the year so far and she has 12 #01 and now 6 #02 albums - most than any female (for both #01's or #02's). With 27.2k pure sales she would have been #01 during the year most weeks so far (including the week BTS were #01).

Kylie is the forever Princess of Pop and it's great that she got to #01 again this week.
She got 32k equivalent sales (that with so slow sales now it's huge, including 26k pure sales!).
She worked her out performing at Glastonbury festival and it paid of!
She also did 6 UK concerts a few days ago and is doing a few more this week (hopefully the concerts will help to keep the sales alive). She really deserves to be #01!

She is also #01 in Australia and TOP 40 in several European countries (including #04 in Ireland and #15 in Germany).

She is #01 in Australia too. Plus #04 in Ireland and #15 in Germany (where streaming is even more important now - and Kylie is not a streaming act). Plus TOP 40 in lot's of other countries (and there are still charts not out yet).

The charts are a mess. Gerrymandered with so many crazy rules and restrictions that make no logical sense.

Looking forward towards the next 2 weeks on the singles chart....when Ed Sheeran will most likely have all the Top 10 songs...like a couple of years ago...To be truthful They are SONGS not singles.....Thank you

Ed Sheeran will not be able to have the entire Top 10, (as he did in 2017). When he did it then, The Official Charts Company decided to prevent it ever happening again. They made a new Rule, that no Artist can have more than 3 Top 100 Hits, at the same time. So, Ed will not be able to have more than 3 Tracks in the same UK Singles Chart...

The charts don't mean a thing now like they used too.
This is cause you don't have to buy a song to get it these days, you can go on You Tube and listen to the song as many times as you like without buying it, and you can also pay £10 a month and have access to thousands of records and then we have streaming.
In the old days you buy a record and it would count towards the charts, these days you don't have to buy it to get it.
What does that tell you about the charts. Singles don't sell like they used too and radio will only play what they want you to hear, they make me sick.

Charts mean nothing. Made up manipulated figures for streams & YouTube views. Waste of time.

Is this rule for real? So Beatles did have 5 singles nside the TOP 10 in the 60's... and Ed Sheeran had the all TOP 10 in 2017... yet that's it? A bit manipulated to keep his record forever, no?

Why don't they work on the fact that the same downloaded songs and the same streams are counting twice for charts (for both singles and album charts). Yet albums sales only count once... now that's why the charts are all F*cked up... :(

Nuno - The Beatles never had the Top 5 Singles in the UK Charts. They did it in the USA Charts in 1964. They never had more than 2 Top 10 Singles, at the same time, in the UK. That was between 1963 and 1964 and between 1967 and 1968. It is now virtually impossible for 'Old' Acts to have Top 10 Singles, in the UK. Madonna, Kylie, Bruce Springsteen, Westlife, and Take That, have all found that out. They can still do well in the Album Chart, though. If and when ABBA release their New Singles, they too may fail to get into the Top 10...

Thanks Bro! Mix them up. So when this was a SINGLES CHART - and singles sales only were part of the charts and album tracks and streams were not making songs chart - did anyone had more than 2 TOP 10 singles at the same time?

This should be called UK SONGs CHART as it's not a singles chart anymore for a long time. They are tricking people to think that. And the only reason Ed Sheeran did that was because the same single song downloads and streams are being counted at the same time for both albums and singles chart while before singles were only counted for singles chart and albums for albums chart. This chart is not a singles chart anymore for a few years now. They should really stop calling it that!
