Dua was so close to being #1 for me, but I just didn't like the last two tracks on 'Future Nostalgia' unfortunately.

Hmm... it was certainly a very good album, but this year had such tough competition from me! :P

Even 'After Hours' somehow didn't make the list, haha.

I'd, sadly, put the two Derulo songs higher in the list, but I agree with number 1 totally.

It's a real shame, because Jason Derulo used to be way better & I hope he returns to his signature 2010's hits, rather than anything he attempted this year.

Yummy topped everyone's list you can't not hate it it's hilarious how bad it performed

I said that I didn't like JB, but Yummy is actually shocking.
It's also slightly sad to see Anne-Marie in that list because I agree with you on that as well. She usually makes pretty good music as well

The thing is, JB's EDM-inspired 'Purpose' was actually a very good album throughout with singles that were deserving of their hit status! I feel that the production that he was using around that time really suited his vocals, so it's really disappointing to see his musical quality drop off this hard. :/

Mind you, 'I Hope' was close! Thank goodness that never took off outside the US. :/

As for 'Yummy', it's not even bad in an hilarious way either, but more just a shocking embarrassment!

Ed took a break for the entirety of 2016 and also pretty much the entirety of 2020 lol. He even said when releasing 'Afterglow' that he's not off break yet, he just wanted to put out a song for his fans.

I didn't listen to it on the chart show today. What's it like?

It's fairly simple really; it's just Ed's vocals & an acoustic guitar, but the melody on the hook is very soothing! I don't think it would do anything big as a single by any means, but for a one-off song for his fans, I definitely appreciate it. :)

Yeah, if you think about it, he only put out an album last year, so I don't expect anything big from him in 2021 either.

The artists I really want to see return next year are: Adele, Rihanna & Kendrick Lamar! :D

Fair enough, I can see why you like it, and why I might like it too. But on your last sentence, you really never know - it's Ed Sheeran for crying out loud, so a song of his is naturally going top 20 at least, even if it is a surprise

I guess it's difficult to tell with those ones, as how do we know that they might not have become hits anyway? This is where, like with 'Stay Another Day', the debate of whether or not something is a Christmas song or not comes in! :P
