I would have wanted that Mimi debuting at number 1 but I guess a top 5 debut record its quite remarkable for her!

Not many albums these days have the sales stamina to remain at No.1 for more than a week unless you are in the ed/Lewis/Dua/Adele league.
Was listening to Alanis Morrissette's album Jagged Little Pill this week, what a corker!

Madonna "Finally Enough Love" remix album spending a 21th week inside the TOP 100 is truly remarkable! If it can hold on 6 more weeks inside the TOP 100 will tie Jlo 2002 remix album for the most weeks on the chart during the XXI century for a remix album!

avatar

Paula Wilkinson-Jones

-2

Yes, but the majority of those weeks was at the bottom end of the chart. Its probably selling about 6 copies a week. Nothing particularly impressive at all.

C

Cloudbuster

0

Doesn't matter. It's still on the UK charts regardless of how the
obsessive Madonna haters try to spin it and you'll just have to find a way to cope.

PYG

pipis y gañas

it already outsold Kylie miflop's Impossible princess and, unlike that garbage flop album it will receive a silver plaque next week (her 1 week lasting re release didn't help much did it? imagine flopping TWICE with the same garbage Bjork wannabe record 25 years later).

PYG

pipis y gañas

1

typical butthurt Kancer Mishit stan.

C

Cloudbuster

1

lol. The fact that Madonna's remix album has charted longer than ANY of Kylie last six releases (including DISCO and a Greatest Hits album released on Glastonbury week) is a scream in itself, especially when her fans said Madonna would be out of the charts in the second week. Karma really did come back to bite them on their ar*es.

C

Cloudbuster

0

They really didn't expect Madonna's remix album to outlast Kylie's Disco and Step Back in Time (Greatest Hits) and this is their reaction. Talk about BITTER.

PYG

pipis y gañas

0

did you know that none of Kylie Mishit's albums have spent more than 80 weeks in the top 100? NONE of them have spent more than 100 weeks. No wonder she doesn't have one of the 30 best selling albums by females in the region. Imagine how POOR her sales are elsewhere. The UK is literally the only place where she has done OK-ish.

PYG

pipis y gañas

2

I expect FEL to fall off the charts either next week or the week next to it. but it will be charting again with either new tour dates or when the tour starts. FEL will have crazy longevity

C

Cloudbuster

-1

lmao. I didn't know that....not even her so called biggest seller from 1988, or Fever? Wow. lol

A

addickted2hcharlton

3

Well iss impressive cos Madge is still in the chart n oldin on unlike some on ere,

A

addickted2hcharlton

1

Thass juss wot I think n all on ere.

avatar

🧡 oliviasnoodles 🍜

3

and what about it? at least it’s still in the charts

PYG

pipis y gañas

0

Kylie (1988): 67 weeks. Fever: 85 weeks. Absolutely NONE of her garbage flops have spent more than 100 weeks. lmaoooo

avatar

Damián

-1

Mmm, pipi....me parece que tu odio a Kylie habla de lo mucho que quieres ser ella, estas obsesionado con Kylie, ella ama a los maricones como vos pero a vos te odiaría seguro

PYG

ser una cancerosa? jajaja

avatar

Mathew Northcote

-4

No it has not and Kylie's last three number one have all sold gold something Madonna hasn't done since Rebel heart. Disco has sold 166,000, greatest hits 168,000 and Golden 180,000. Madame x has only gone silver and Rebel heart 115,000 lol.

avatar

Mathew Northcote

-2

It was only released on a certain amount of vinyl for its release so wouldn't have charted more than 1 week.

avatar

Mathew Northcote

-1

Because something has charted longer doesn't mean it's sold more and 18 weeks it's has spent out of the top 40 and most of those weeks have been down to streaming which is not sales. Sale means when you buy something not listening to it on a streaming service.

C

Cloudbuster

3

Erm, yes it has. Have a look on Kylie's page, or are you going to tell us the OCC are wrong and the bitter Kylie fans like you are right? lol. Kylie released 10+ different variations of Disco and GH's so you really shouldn't be surprised her mincing fans snapped up each version. It still doesn't alter the fact FEL has been on the chart longer than Kylie's last six releases despite not promoting and releasing half as many variations as Kylie did. LOL

C

Cloudbuster

2

I didn't say she sold more, but it's hilarious how you're doing mental gymnastics and absolutely SEETHING over FEL charting for longer than any of Kylie's last six releases - which is a FACT and not something I made up. How do you know Madonna's are down to streaming? Where's your proof?

C

Cloudbuster

1

lmao. Mathew Northcote will be along soon to spin some lies on this. lol

C

Cloudbuster

2

Amazon are still selling the vinyl today at a pittance, and yet it still failed to chart for more than one poxy week lol. Quit with the lies because we're not buying it.

avatar

Damián

Que persona asquerosa degenerada que sos, repugnante marica

PYG

pipis y gañas

1

still a flop. a flop in 1998, a flop in 2022. It's still N/A on BPI lmaooooooo!!! and so is Let's get to it.

avatar

Mathew Northcote

-1

Yes but Kylie has sold more and that's what is important . FEL 21 weeks and still not certified and Madonna X has only sold 64,000 and Rebel heart 115,000.

avatar

Mathew Northcote

0

I'm not seething selling more is more important to me.

avatar

Mathew Northcote

0

Because she's been in the streaming charts and not sales and physical charts.

avatar

Mathew Northcote

-3

So is Madame x a flop

avatar

Mathew Northcote

0

She hasn't been on the sales and physical chart since week 6 only streaming.

C

Cloudbuster

1

and Madonna would've sold more had she promoted everywhere like Kylie and released the same amount of variations as she did.

C

Cloudbuster

1

Selling more than Madonna is important to you? lmao.

C

Cloudbuster

0

That so called flop was released 37 years in to Madonna's career, Kylie's flops started in 1990 - 2 Years in. .

A

addickted2hcharlton

1

Yeah the madgephobes on ere are so borin. They use ageism n misogyny n all.

A

addickted2hcharlton

0

mish mosh sish sosh grish grosh thass all yourn come up with on ere.

avatar

Paula Wilkinson-Jones

0

And you'll just have to cope with the fact that Madonna is a spent force and only sad, lonely hairdressers buy her records.

avatar

Paula Wilkinson-Jones

-1

Seven months on release just to get a Silver disc. How the mighty have fallen. I wouldn't expect anything further though. Madame X still hasnt gone beyond Silver after 4 years. And it took Rebel Heart almost 6 years to get a gold.

And why would I care about Kylie?

avatar

Damián

0

You freak

C

Cloudbuster

0

Who the f*ck gives a other than the Incontinent Psycho's? FEL, MX and Rebel Heart selling less than her previous albums doesn't erase her stats or number ones from the history books. They'll stay there regardless and you'll have to get over it or spend the rest of your days weeping into your Aldi corn flakes. Acts like Ed and Adele aren't even selling huge amounts like they used to, nobody is. Kylie certainly isn't.

Great to see P!nk having some longevity with her latest album, still going strong after many many years
