RIHANNA

Rihanna made her first UK chart appearance back in 2005 with debut hit Pon De Replay, which went straight in at Number 2 on the Official Singles Chart.

In the summer of 2007, Barbadian singer Rihanna landed her first UK Number 1 single with Umbrella ft Jay Z, it went on to spend an incredible ten weeks at Number 1 and became a bona fide pop classic. It was the first of many chart toppers for Rihanna.

In October 2011 Rihanna scored a record-breaking sixth UK Number 1 single in five consecutive years, a feat that Official Charts confirmed was unequalled by any other female solo artist.

Rihanna has notched up a staggering nine UK Number 1 singles across her career including Umbrella, Take A Bow, Run This Town, Only Girl (In The World), What's My Name, We Found Love ft Calvin Harris, Diamonds, Eminem collaboration The Monster, and a team-up with DJ Khaled and Tiller on Wild Thoughts.

Not content with a career of iconic hit singles, Rihanna has bagged several Number 1s on the Official Albums Chart too - her Number 1 albums include 2007's Good Girl Gone Bad, 2010's Loud, 2011's Talk That Talk and 2012's Unapologetic.
