Though I can understand the difficult circumstances of posthumous artists holding on to their crowns in the marketplace, the disappearance of Michael Jackson is a crushing disappointment. With millions of followers across the globe, Michael's music reaches people of all ages and social backgrounds. We can only express our rage towards Sony for not doing the promotional work that was required for the deceased Michael Jackson. In this day and age, living legendary artists like Cliff Richard are examples of excellence through craft. When selling albums in multiple decades, sir Cliff has certainly left his mark in the industry. A national treasure, he continues to connect to his fans with grace, power and sheer ability to express his talent. Our heroes rise above the thrones to capture the imagination of generations. His chart performance is direct proof of his reigning crown in the pop world. With Christmas just weeks away, gift giving is essential to sharing the holiday season with the love ones that you hold near and dear. When the kings return to the charts in 2022, into 2023, it is indeed something special. Cliff's career dates back to the early days of rock n roll, within the 1950's. Still going strong, Cliff is an inspiration to us all. As he gets ready to celebrate the birth of a brand new year, Cliff wants to wish all of you peace, health and happiness as he prepares for his next musical adventure. This is a fantastic gift.

Michael Jackson's deluxe version of his best selling "Thriller" album should have been a surefire winner for the holiday season. I was almost certain that millions of parents and grandparents would be purchasing the extended version for the little ones and teens in their life. With the extra disc of gems awaiting the masses, millions will be dancing to the music of the king, It is shocking that the new reissue is already off the UK charts so quickly. Santa should stock up on Michael Jackson. Kids are definitely demanding the king of pop under the Christmas tree this year. Sony needs to do a full scale promotional blitz, However, I must again offer congrats to sir Cliff Richard for his fantastic new Christmas album. It is still holding its own with only a slight drop from last week's #2 position. It is perhaps the biggest surprise of the year. As expected, I am humbled to see Fleetwood Mac rise on the charts, due to the death Christine McVie.
