I find it daft that George Michael's Older album has charted over 120 weeks in total but the weeks are divided because the album has been released on two different labels. When will OCC sort this mess out? In this day and age of digital tracks/streaming etc surely the label is somewhat irrelevant.

Would have prefered a different number 1: either the talented CRAIG DAVID or even better the critically acclaimed BJORK: Fossora is an amazing album!!!

How many sales would Craig David accumulated at number 7? Not many. The most mediocre singer of all time. I mean it only takes about 30k to get to number 1 these days.

It's insane to me that Adele's 30 didn't manage to survive even one year in the Top 100. The entire era feels like a big misstep for such a powerful artist.

Really? It's just more of the same and all rather self indulgent. Apart from the big hit it hasn't had the staying power- time she took a few more risks and stepped out of her comfort zone.

I completely agree with you there. I appreciate the self-healing arch of the album but most of the tracks were bloated in length and didn't offer much after a few listens. What's baffling is to think an artist who enjoyed the success of '25' (an album which is currently enjoying a 50 plus week charting period) fumbled a comeback album, with great expectations, and sees that comeback drop off the charts after 45 weeks. Never expected Adele to be THAT frontloaded.

it’s really sad to see tbh. it’s a great album, sure adele could have taken more risks with it but it still hurts to see it be the fastest drop-off of adele’s

Yes, and we see people like Ed Sheeran and Olivia Rodrigo (Both as popular as Adele), Drake, Dave, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift. George Ezra. 50 Cent. Kanye West, Sam Fender, Billie Eilish, Sam Fender, The Beatles, Dbe in four weeks - how did Adele not make the cut?

Ppl got tired of her style and music, she should try something else, apart than Adele herself only dropped just 2 singles of promotion
