so, because Impossible Princess (#5) is considered a different album than Kylie Minogue 97 (#10) does tha mean she will NEVER receive a certification with that tryhard Bjork wannabe, panned piece of trash of an album? Not to mention, Let's get to it, her other 90s garbage flop album is still NOT certified and will never be. Madonna, whose entire discography IS certified by BPI keeps winning, Kyli mishit stans

I've got albums by Madonna n Kylie n like both. But most of the insults bile n vitriol on ere are aimed at Madonna n their ageist n all n it aint right n we don't want it on ere.

Its absolutely crazy that Kylie's Impossible Princess 25th anniversary edition has debuted at #5, being its peak at #10 way back in 1997! That's wonderful, craze! That's whar real and loyal fans do, support our artist through all her career no matter what. Thats why Kylie's still so relevant in UK and Oz, no matter she never may have the Madonna global status recognition. Congrats all you LOVERS

Anyone excited about ROXETTE new album which came out yesterday? the official charts didn't even mentioned it on their weekly update!! Shame...POP UP DYNAMO isn't their best album, mainly i reckon because MARIE is no longer with us but still a very good album and PER's voice is so good!!

1) it happens with every massive artist, because cancel culture does not exist in the albums chart
2) kanye has sung on a couple of songs like heartless, but i wouldn’t call him a singer. he’s mostly a rapper.
3) i’m a huuuge fan of kanye west and used to want to be like him. when he said that sh*t about jewish people, i tried so hard not to cry because he’s made some of my favourite albums ever and what he said sickened me to the core. i’ll always support the music, but not the artist anymore.

Arctic Monkeys album total trash. A-ha also garbage. Taylor and Carly cute but nothing special. Simple Minds with the best album of the week!

Two catchin my eye on ere Ugh Cornwall n Jean Michel Jarre, loved the stranglers n always good to see JMJ back dahn our gaff thass wot I call music. Givin them autotuners a run for their money. Now if I old my nose I can sing juss like George Ezra n make loss of money for avin no talent on ere.

Disappointed that Carly’s album missed the Top 10. :/

Some fantastic uplifting pop tunes on there that the charts could honestly do with right now & just a really fun listen all around! 😍

It’s a shame that people only really remember her from ‘Call Me Maybe’ or ‘I Really Like You’ because neither of them don’t even come close to showing off her full potential.

As a Taylor fan, I actually hope Arctic Monkeys get at least at the top further down the line!

The album might not be my usual style, but I liked it more than expected & it’d be really unlucky for them not to peak at #1 when they literally had the biggest opening week of the year apart from her.

That being said, ‘There’d Better Be A Mirrorball’ was a fantastic lead single! 😊

i’m a huge fan of arctic monkeys, but i would’ve said the same if there was a 505 moment on the album, and there absolutely wasn’t. the car is their worst album yet and this is coming from someone who normally likes arctic monkeys ;(

I've not really heard enough of their discography to comment, but I've loved all of their classics, so I may revisit albums such as 'AM' since a couple of tracks on there would've charted for me!

I'm also open to any recommendations from you or anyone else here. :)

‘Midnights’ might be my least favourite Taylor album since ‘Reputation’, but honestly, the fact that this is her ninth consecutive album in just a day short of a decade is a remarkable achievement! 🤯

Surprised it resonated with people enough to be her by far biggest opening week to date & it’s definitely not up there with her classics like ‘1989’ for me, but congrats to her on breaking records with this nonetheless. :)

Either way, it’s kind of impressive that the entire Top 5 this week are all new entries!
