It would be lovely to see Rock Choir Keeping The Dream Alive in the charts, particularly as all profits from the single are going to the Mental Health Foundation, particularly poignant this year!

Oh no. Baby Shark isn't there. Please everyone get streaming. It is my favourite. Whenever I do a on my potty and not in my nappy my mommy plays it for me. It makes me happy. At least Dance Monkey is still there because mommy sings that to me when I wake up in my bed and have had a dry night.

If someone stole the no1 from Mariah it will be Mariah herself with Oh Santa
Congrats to Elton John,Kelly C. and Kylie who have new peaks.
I told you that we re gonna have surprises these Xmas

I don't think Jess Glynne will catch up with Mariah Carey now. AIWFCIY will finally be a number one hit and ACR no longer holds it off

I don't think Tones and I will have another breakthrough hit unless she has big promotion to go alongside it

Mariah's last #1 in UK was 20 years ago in 2000 lol

Me too, Shane codd has also done a remix of becky Hills last track 'space' which also sounds amazing but for some reason its an amazon exclusive, poor time of year to release that but maybe it will pick up in the new year

I had dream that it would just fly away

Also if Fairytale of New York stays at #3, it will be it's highest chart position since it peaked at #2 on it's first release in 1987

Step Into Christmas is heading for a new peak as things stand

After all the times it's re-entered the chart, you know Mariah Carey's song being at number one now is a fix

After we finally get Mariah to #1, we have to do the same with Wham! the following week, haha. :)

avatar

Mrsliver

3

Yes!

avatar

Piran

3

Besides, they’ve had a longer wait than Mariah has! ;)

avatar

3

Then the pogues should get there and the Christmas holy trinity will all have a #1

avatar

Piran

3

That would be the best way to end out this terrible year... but that would also mean that ‘Fairytale Of New York’ would be the Christmas #1 of 2020! ;)

avatar

Cameron

2

It was originally beaten to the Christmas #1 by Always On My Mind by The Pet Shop Boys which is a good song tbf but not a Christmas song lol

avatar

Piran

1

Also, unlike Mariah or Wham!, The Pogues haven’t peaked at #2 again since their Christmas classic was originally released (1987). :)

avatar

Cameron

1

Yes that's true and also Wham was originally kept off #1 by Do They Know It's Christmas? which is fair enough

avatar

Piran

2

I think ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’ is actually the second biggest selling song of all-time! ‘Last Christmas’ is tenth. :)

Also, the highest charting non-festive song isn’t even in the Top 5 now, when it was #1 last week! :O

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it's the entire Top 40 by Christmas week.

I have mixed feelings about it myself.

Mariah’s leading by 2.1k combined sales with only four days to go! :D

To compare this to yesterday, it had a lead of 1.3k combined sales on the First Look.

It’s looking promising, guys!
