Yeah, Essential or Number Ones (depending which one the record company rules count, I don't really understand all that stuff) are pretty much always present in the top 100, usually top 40 but of course has had an extra boost due to the rather fantastic MJ - The Musical which opened recently in the West End, after over two years and counting run on Broadway.

I'm curious how much Thriller does these days. I know it still sells quite well and have seen it on the US charts from time to time.  It's a big seller on vinyl too as it's one of those "must haves".  I think it's safe to say it'll stay the biggest selling album in the world well into the future after we're all gone. :)

Nice chart-topper this week.

Shame I can't see it. 🫠

Next you'll be telling me that Olivia Rodrigo is number 1.5.

Apologies for the temporary glitch with the display of this chart, we are working on restoring it.

Is it a temporary glitch that Beyonce' is now a Country Artist too?  What a bunch of no-hopers provide the charts these days!

Hi, eligibility for the specialist genre charts is always based on the music, not the artist. Artists release different types of records across their career, and each release is categorised accordingly.

If what you're saying is correct, then why is that chart called "Country Artists Album Chart" and not "Country Music Chart" ?    (which actually makes a nonsense of what you're saying)

The title refers to it being a chart compiled based on artist albums, not compilations. There’s a separate Country Compilations Chart.

Your reply is totally irrelevant to the point being made.  I rest my case - your responses merely confirm that you don't understand the job that you're supposed to be doing.

I never expected Sheryl Crow to maintain her midweek position of No.30, but No.90 is just painful!
