Official Singles Chart Update on 6/7/2020

Same about the album, unfortunately i love 'WP'. Besides, if it goes top 40 it'll probably die down quicker, as it's unlikely at this point to go top 20 even, but it got off ACR and is in the billboard top 10, so who knows?

Yeah, it's so good. I really hope it gets Number 1.

Hey, just out of interest does anyone know why Pop Smoke's singles are just Pop Smoke because on his YT channel (which may or may not have official features), the 3 singles feature a range of rappers, from 50 Cent to DaBaby

Yeah, iTunes counts the features too, and I don’t know why OCC didn’t credit them!

Maybe Scott Mills will say the features? I dunno.

Lots of good songs are no doubt going to miss out on the top 40, particularly EDM. It's a shame Kygo, who's had many top 10 hits in the past, can't get past a guy in a gang who was released from jail and yells about stuff in his songs and his music videos are rude (i don't think i can use what i was going to say)

The best songs always seem to peak at #2, just outside the Top 10, or just outside the Top 40. It's become typical in the UK charts now sadly! :/

Yeah, it's not really fair that ACR has to affect songs below the Top 40 too! :/

I get the 3-single rule, but I don't get ACR. I don't see a point, just make an 'ACR chart' or something and go back to the original chart, a lot of great songs miss out on even the top 100 with or without ACR, and old singles re-enter anyway so the system is flawed. It would also be interesting to see what the chart would be like without ACR, instead of me trying to work it out and getting 'Higher Love' and 'Location' etc. mixed up :(

Yeah, I've already said my piece about ACR itself & I don't even agree with the three song rule either! It's more annoying that we can't see what the charts would've be like without either of these rules. :(

sigh EDM hits 'Lonely', 'Midnight', 'Be Kind' AND 'Heaven On My Mind' dropping out top 40. Such a shame! I have to say though, I used to love Sigala's music, and I still like it, but I just get tired of it after a while, whereas I still love 'Easy Love' and 'Sweet Lovin''. At one point I couldn't even listen to 'Lullaby'.

Woah... just watched 'Fake Friends' again. I subbed to PS1 the other week and he had almost 300 subs I think... he's now got 1.19K! Honestly one of the best songs right now :) Also 'Be Kind' deserved to be top 20 at least.

Hopefully what's poppin can continue to move up as the week goes on, the original was great the remix just sealed it honestly one of my favourite songs of the year Jack's flow is insane and unique

Hope 'WHATS POPPIN' can go top 40... what's with 'Fake Friends' dropping??? There are a LOT of drops this week, and a lot of top 40 new entries. I hope some can go out the top 40. Also, no ACR this week! (as far as I'm aware...)

Yeah, I think Rector confirmed on Friday that no songs are set to go on ACR this week! :)

It about 'Fake Friends' falling though! I really thought that was finally going to enter the Top 40 on Friday.

Same, also sad that Joel Corry & MNEK can't go top 20. I also predict 'Aim For The Moon' won't be top 20 by Friday. I listened to his album via YouTube, and I actually like a couple of the songs on it, particularly 'What You Know About Love' and 'Mood Swings'.

Looking at streaming services its likely that mood swings could swap with for the night as the third pop smoke track on the chart

I do think 'Head & Heart' will be a slow climber over the next few weeks, but yeah, the Pop Smoke debuts are likely to have fallen by Friday.
