Mostly what I expected, although it'd interesting to see 'Homicide' in the Top 10 by Friday! :)

Hi piran, it's me again. I'm praying that late night feelings by Mark ronson makes it to the top 40,that's got to be my favourite song ever by him. Vossi bop has a catchy rhythm which is always what I like in songs but bad guy by billie eilish should be number 1 for me tho is looking very unlikely. Surprised me by Taylor swift took a drop and might not make it to number 1 and finally I am sort of glad to see someone you loved still in the top 5 tho I expect it to drop very soon

It's really growing on me actually! It might even make my personal charts over the next few weeks.
Unfortunately, I really don't think 'Bad Guy' will ever be a #1 hit, but she did fantastic getting to #2 as I said. It's good to know that you don't mind 'Vossi Bop' anyway.
I think last week was 'Me!'s best chance to make it to #1, so I really don't see it happening now unfortunately, but maybe another single from TS7 can do it instead.
I agree that 'Someone You Loved' might go on ACR soon, as I can't see anywhere that it picked up this week.
I hope everything's good with you anyway Tony! :)

Taylor played all the cards last week. Song release, video, lyric video, live video, Cd-single, 7" vinyl picture disc. It would drop hard as last weekend she felt on iTunes, Spotify and YouTube views. It was it's peak. The song continues to drop on sales and on YouTube daily views.

Shawn Mendes will probably climb over her since he was almost all week ahead of her on iTunes, YouTube and just 1 spot behind on Spotify in UK.

Bad Guy will get a better position by tomorrow as the song is #02 on Spotify UK and #03 on iTunes.

Streaming is to blame. Seems unfair that the number of times we play our physical purchases don't count to the chart if streaming can. Very uneven.

Streaming is just improved radio. Artist make almost no money from it, nor record companies but these way this show inflated numbers as "equivalent sales" that have no equivalence at all. A track stream to sell the same as a digital track would have to be played 3000 times. Instead, only 150 are 1 sale equivalent! It's insain! Some artists get to #01 without having a sales TOP 10 and even TOP 20. It's pure chart manipulation. Plus they count twice because they also are counted as an album track and 10 tracks are 1 album equivalent added both to the albums and singles sales. It also counts for both albums and singles certifications. Meaning that an artist that have 3 platinum singles from 1 album automatically will have that album as a gold album if most the points come from streams (even without selling any album!). Can't understand this double count and false increased sales numbers! Then they say the artist sold X equivalent records - in the end it's less than 75 streams to sell a single and less than 750 to sell an album (average) as the points are counting twice (when the album is already out)! But then we have artists that sell digital tracks and don't chart making more money from records at the end of the year than artists that were number one on the charts.
