LF SYSTEM is the production duo consisting of ex-roofer and petrol station workers turned Scottish DJs Conor Larkman and Sean Finnigan, who lit up Summer 2022 with their dance anthem Afraid To Feel. The duo had originally created the song in 2019 when they used a sample from Silk’s 1979 song I Can't Stop (Turning You On).

Officially released on May 2, 2022, Afraid To Feel entered the Official UK Singles Chart at Number 69 and hit Number 1 six weeks later on July 8, staying there for an eight week stint. Afraid To Feel ended 2022 as the UK's eighth biggest song of 2022, and was part of a wave of dance hits that year from breakout acts like Belters Only and Eliza Rose.
