Why on earth was House every weekend a number 1 on this this chart. It should of been Shine by Years and Years

How can music chart when BBC Radio refuses to play anything that isn't already on their playlists? They are giving the cold shoulder to new music by Madonna, Janet Jackson, Take That, Adam Lambert and many others. We're supposed to believe that the music charts aren't corrupted, but it's not true.

since people are wondering how david zowie got to number 1 is that he has 3 versions selling the normal version the radio edit and the copy from the house every weekend album also you have to consider the new factor of them counting the views from on demand

I said it once, I'll say it again: Why are the runs for songs appearing on both 04/07/2015 and 09/07/2015 separated as if they had dropped out and re-entered?

This is just guesswork - the program that constructs the chart runs may look for the song in the chart dated seven days after each date it was in the chart. So, when a song was in the chart dated 4/7, it will look for an entry for 11/7. If it doesn't find an entry, it will then consider the next entry (in this case 9/7/2015) to be the start of a new chart run. If I'm right, a simple change to look for a subsequent entry dated between one and seven days after each entry should fix it.

Will the missing Spotify data get added at a later date?

The chart does include Spotify streams. It also includes a lot more download sources than just the itunes chart!

No it should include Spotify, but it didnt this week! Note this wouldnt have effected the #1, but does effect the rest of the chart.

When doing re entry in the singles chart do u need to follow the singles catalogue number. To match the original version or a new version that entered the chart.

This is a complete shambles! David Zowie should not be Number 1! It should have been Shine by Years & Years, shown by the iTunes chart and the lack of streams by David Zowie.

I agree, I'm starting to lose faith in the UK charts. "House Every Weekend" is such a horrible and annoying song. Fifth Harmony and Rita Ora deserved the top spot more. But at least Years & Years topped the Scottish chart.

As if Years & Years missing #1 wasn't too messed up, the top 100 just doesn't appear!
