"Are You With Me" is one of the most boring and most repetitive songs I've ever heard and it didn't deserve to go number 1 in the first place.

6 years late, but you'll no doubt have some satisfaction that it only spent 5 days as a number 1 single. The shortest run of any number 1 surely and definitely since at least 1969 when the chart date previously changed. Looks from the week ending dates like it changed in 1967 too?

Has the publication date changed?Last week's chart only covered 5 days (5th - 9th July). The next one covers 10 July - 16 July?

Yep. From Sundays to Friday now.

I do not see why the songs' chart runs all say they have re-entered last week! Example: Not Letting Go should say 1-2, but instead says 1 and then 2 on a separate run, so it looks like it has entered at number one, dropped out, and re-entered at 2. This needs to be fixed.

I believe changing the charts to Fridays is a seriously bad move. Most people work Fridays and would be unable to even listen to the chart run down compared to a Sunday, so I reckon this would affect sales in the long run. Its bad enough that Radio 1 are sexist already and won't play anyone over 30 it seems, unless your Sia, and a few others. Another thing, have you noticed since the demise of the physical single format that quite a lot of artists that we're having hit singles are no longer achieving that since downloading took over.

Chart novelty is dead while the industry maintains it. Independent -
anything goes charts will have far more musical novelty than the tripe
the industry forces out most of the time. Still, if it pleases the spoodfed, who can blame them, also well done brain controlling those poor souls.

I have noticed that even if you request a brand new song, BBC radio will refuse to play it unless it's already on their playlists. How is that supposed to reflect diversity in music and honestly show what people enjoy? BBC radio has given the cold shoulder to the last two Take That singles even though they debuted at numbers two and one on the physical sales chart. What other music are they snubbing for idiotic reasons? How are Madonna and Janet Jackson unpopular nobodies on the charts? Who are they trying to fool?

Why does not Janet Jackson has´t made the charts??? It´s a GREAT new single, She has´t made any rubbish music ever!! Is she outdated or what? I just don´t understand. Just to say...I´m from Finland and I have always trusted you guys there in the UK to set the trends in music for everyone to follow. But now...I have my doubts.

I´m a bit stupid. Forgive me but...is this chart based only on the downloads and physical sales of these tracks? Or is there this thing that they include smt like you tube, spotify or things that people listen on line? And that makes this chart? Where can I find the real chart that only counts the real amount of sold singles (albums). Please someone answer me! Pekka from Finland

I think they started incorporating streams (youtube, spotify, etc) in the last year or so. I'm not sure of exactly when.

Spotify and other streaming sites are included. However, youtube views are not included. I hope they never will be.

I suspect she is just a little too bonkers to be a big success in the US.
