Nashville-based singer/songwriter Stephen Sanchez built a steady audience on TikTok before enjoying meteoric UK chart success with the release of tender ballad Until I Found You.
Originally released 1 September 2021, a remix of the song with American singer-songwriter Em Beihold was later released in April 2022 and went on to become an RIAA 3x Platinum Certified hit.
The blue-eyed soul tune, written by Sanchez and produced by Ian Fitchuk, found famous fans including Sir Elton John who invited him on stage to perform the track during his last-ever headlining show at Glastonbury in summer 2023, praising the 20-year-old’s song-writing prowess.
Stephen Sanchez's appearance alongside Elton at Glastonbury sent Until I Found You soaring into the Official Singles Chart Top 20, giving the singer his highest-charting single in the UK at that point.
Until I Found You was later announced by Official Charts as one of the UK's Top 40 biggest songs of 2023, finishing at Number 39 in the year-end list. The song features on Stephen Sanchez's debut album Angel Face, released September 2023.
