Joel Corry and MNEK take the lead over Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo in the race for this week's Number 1 single

It's looking like it'll be a photo finish on this Friday's Official Singles Chart (July 24) as the race for Number 1 between Joel Corry & MNEK and Jawsh 685 & Jason Derulo is going right down to the wire.

On Sunday's Official Chart: First Look, current chart toppers Jawsh & Jason were in pole position with Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat), 1,500 chart sales infront of their new rivals, who had climbed one place to Number 2 with Head & Heart. 

It's all change in today's sales flash however (July 22), with Joel & MNEK pulling ahead - the producer and singer-songwriter duo are now in the lead by just shy of 300 chart sales.

Both songs are leading on different metrics too; Jawsh & Jason edge ahead on streaming, while Joel & MNEK have the most downloads. Can Joel & MNEK continue to gain momentum or will Jawsh & Jason take back the top spot?

The cut-off for sales and streams to count towards this week’s chart is midnight Thursday. The final Official Chart Top 40 will be unveiled on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart with Scott Mills this Friday from 4pm, with the full Official Singles Chart Top 100 published on OfficialCharts.com from 5.45pm.
