Caity Baser is a singer-songwriter born in Southampton, United Kingdom.

Following a stint as a supermarket worker, her first releases included Friendly Sex and X&Y, before breakout hit Pretty Boys saw Caity claim her first-ever Official Top 40 single in 2022.

Since then, Caity's released a steady string of singles including Leave Me Alone and latest track I Love Making Bad Boys Cry. Having played at Reading and Leeds Festivals this summer, Caity's soon to embark on her biggest-ever tour and will release her much-anticipated mixtape Still Learning in March 2024.

Speaking on her acknowledgement, Caity said: "When I heard that I've been nominated for the BRITs Rising Star award this year, I literally screamed for 5 minutes and chucked everything around my room!

"I used to watch the awards on TV every year when I was a kid but had no idea how a kid from an estate in Southampton would ever get there. Now to be shortlisted for the Rising Star award for next year...me! Little old me… All I have to say is I am so happy and thank you so much. It's really a dream come true!"

Caity's highest-charting hit in the UK so far is Pretty Boys, which peaked at Number 26 in March 2022.
