Yung Filly returned from hiatus in 2024 with new track Grey, released 26 January 2024.
Inspired by his Columbian heritage and his ex girlfriend, the Bromely-raised MC and YouTuber delivers a fusion of his cultural influences on Grey that pay homage to his roots while reflecting his artistic evolution.
The track, written by Yung Filly and Juwonmix who also produced it, blends melodies of Bachata, Reggaeton and afroswing. A remix with Manchester rapper Aitch dropped a few weeks later on 16 February.
In its fourth week on chart, on 23 February Grey rose to Number 33, giving Yung Filly the second UK Top 40 single of his career on the Official Singles Chart following the success of Hold with Chunkz in 2020.
