Training season is over as Dua Lipa tops Official Trending Chart

Training season is over, ladies! Dua Lipa as no time for time-wasters as she debuts at Number 1 on the UK's Official Trending Chart with her latest single.

The breezy, Janet Jackson-adjacent bop - all about Dua's experiences in the dating world - is right now expected to debut at Number 2 on the Official Singles Chart, matching the peak of the equally hypnotic Houdini, the lead track from Dua's as-yet-untitled third studio album, which is set to arrive sometime in the next few months.

Training Season (which comes with production from Tame Impala's Kevin Parker) is currently battling with Beyoncé's energetic country tune, TEXAS HOLD 'EM, for Number 1 this week, with Beyoncé leading right now.

Other new entries from this week include a re-team from Calvin Harris and Rag'n'Bone Man (Lovers in a Past Life), the most random pairing in a while, Jason Derulo and Michael Bublé (!) (Spicy Magarita) and Bryson Tiller (Whatever She Wants). 

We have a lot of rising tracks this week too, including; this week's big gainer, DJO (aka Stranger Things actor Joe Keery) with End of Beginning, which could travel all the way into the Top 40 or the first time ever this Friday. 

We're also joined by big jumps from; Yung Filly (Grey), Beyoncé (16 Carriages), Muni Long (Made For Me) and Nathan Dawe (We Ain't Here For Long).
