DJO

Djo is the alias of singer-songwriter and actor Joe Keery (full name Joseph David Keery), famed for playing roles including Stranger Things' Steve Harrington.

Born in Newburyport, Massachusetts, USA on April 24 1992, Keery has previously recorded and released music under the moniker Cool Cool Cool and as a member of psychedelic rock band Post Animal, which he left in 2019 to concentrate on acting and solo projects.

Djo independently released his debut solo studio album, Twenty Twenty, in 2019; writing and producing the record in its entirety.

In 2022, Djo released follow-up collection DECIDE. Featuring the singles Change, Gloom, Figure You Out and Half Life, the album was co-written alongside Houston-born musician Adam Thein, who also produced the LP.

DECIDE earned Djo his first-ever UK chart appearance, with the record debuting at Number 93 on the Official Album Downloads Chart in September 2022.

In early 2024, album track End of Beginning saw viral success on social media, as its namesake TikTok trend encouraged users to share travel videos soundtracked by the song. Consequently, End of Beginning made its first appearance on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100 in February 2024, debuting at Number 100.
