Missing Little Mix? Watch Kelly Clarkson perform a stirring cover of Heartbreak Anthem

Dry your tears and hear the original American Idol's bold take on Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne's dance-bop with Galantis and David Guetta.

If you're already missing Little Mix following the start of their hiatus *sad emoji* then we have some very good news to cheer you up...

Namely, that Kelly Thee Clarkson has chosen, rather wisely, to cover Little Mix, David Guetta and Galantis's dance bop Heartbreak Anthem for the latest instalment on her iconic Kellyoke series.

For those of you not fluent in the Clarko mythos, Kellyoke is a daily segment on her US talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, where the original American Idol covers (seemingly at random tbh!) a song.

And boy, are you in for a treat here. Obviously, Kelly brings her trademark vocals to Heartbreak Anthem, but she also manages to capture the melancholy of the song's lyrics as accurately as Jade, Leigh-Ann and Perrie's detached yet lived-in performances on the original track. Watch it below:

Oh, Little Mix. We love. And apparently, so does Kelly Clarkson. Does anyone need a tissue? How do we petition for Kelly to cover Touch next, please?

Over the weekend, we said goodbye to Little Mix for now - as Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Ann take a well deserved break from Britain's biggest girl band to focus on their solo careers.
