The 2017 Grammy award winners have been announced; and it was a big year for Adele at this year's ceremony.

The singer picked up five prizes at the bash, three of which were in the "big four" categories: Song of the year, record of the year and album of the year.

Performers on the night included Adele, who opened the show with a rendition of Hello and paid tribute to the late George Michael with a cover of his hit Fastlove, while Chance the Rapper, Kirk Franklin, Lady Gaga and Metallica, The Weeknd and Daft Punk, Anderson .Paak and A Tribe Called Quest also took to the stage.

Other big winners on the night were David Bowie's four awards including Best Alternative Album and Best Rock Performance, while Chance The Rapper won three, including Best New Artist - the first black hip hop artist to scoop the prize since Lauryn Hill in 1999.

What a great year.BRITAIN RULES THE WORLD AGAIN! I bet Rihania and Kanye West were peeved inside at how they have fallen from grace. Fair due to Adele saying Beyonce should have been Album of The Year with dignity and not making an of herself unlike Kanye did with Taylor Swift a number of years back and a fitting few wins for David Bowie beyond the grave. Now for the not so great AND RATHER BORING BRITS AGAIN unless Adele doesn't leave empty handed as we probably won't see her agin until late 2021???
