
Lauv - real name Ari Staprans Leff - is an American singer, songwriter and producer born in San Francisco, California on August 8, 1994. After playing in several bands at school, Lauv studied music technology, and developed his songwriting, at New York University's Steinhardt School and spent two years as an intern at Jungle City Studios in Chelsea, Manhattan where the likes of Alicia Keys and Jay-Z would record. Lauv has worked with Julia Michaels, Troye Sivan and BTS, and has also written and produced other acts, such as Cheat Codes and Demi Lovato’s song No Promises.
