PinkPantheress edging closer than ever to challenging Miley Cyrus for UK’s Number 1 single

Boy's a liar and The Weeknd's Die For You seem like the best bets to end Flowers' reign.

PinkPantheress is getting her best chance yet to de-throne Miley Cyrus from Number 1. Boy’s a liar (2) starts the new chart week off strong, now less than 3,000 chart units away from disloding Flowers (1).

Flowers still remains at Number 1 in our First Look, a week out from the release of Miley's eighth album Endless Summer Vacation, a special demo version of the song was released on Friday, no doubt helping it boost past PinkPantheress initially.

But you would be a fool to discount The Weeknd. Still riding a viral high after a new Ariana Grande remix, Die For You could reach a new peak of Number 3. Can it go even higher?

After weeks of upwards momentum - and its own Specialist Number 1 Award for its dominance of the Official Afrobeats Chart - Libianca’s People could finally enter the Top 10 for the first time on Friday (10).

Pink’s Trustfall is flying back up the chart again, the sophisticated dance banger could ascend three to a brand-new peak of Number 11.

Following the release of her debut album Amelia, Mimi Webb’s sassy Red Flags is running towards its highest chart position yet (13).

Mae Stephens shows no signs of slowing down. Her Official Chart debut, If We Ever Broke Up continues to grow week-on-week (19).

Shame boys a liar is at #2 again, but it's probably due to the demo of Flowers releasing. But hey, atleast People is aiming for the top 10!

cd singles of boys a liar are out for purchase, once they ship out hopefully this week that'll add decent sales and get it to #1

Very stale chart. Only one song moved into the Top 20 & even that’s likely to fall back out by the end of the tracking week! 😩

What new song? Never Gonna Not Dance Again? That peaked at #19.

Oops, I meant that ‘Never Gonna Not Dance Again’ is the only song here not to appear in the current Top 20. Poor wording! 😭

Really glad to see ‘People’ moving into the Top 10! 😊

, I think this was ‘Boy’s A Liar’s best chance to overtake & it probably won’t close the gap in time. :/
