LadBaby have teamed up with Walkers and The Trussell Trust for their latest Christmas campaign.

The social media stars - real-life husband and wife duo Mark and Roxanne Hoyle -  have something of a sterling record when it comes to the festive season - scoring two Christmas number 1s in a row in 2018 and 2019 with We Built This City and We Love Sausage Rolls.

LadBaby's involvement in the campaign is part of Walkers' pledge to help the YouTubers raise more money at Christmas for the Trussell Trust, which supports a network of food banks across the UK.

The new advert is built around Walkers' new sausage roll flavour crisps, just in time for the festive season. LadBaby gifts a sausage-roll inspired re-working of a traditional Christmas Carol for the clip, which includes cameos by the likes of former East 17 member Tony Mortimer, Welsh tenor Aled Jones, Carole Smile and footballer Gary Lineker.

Speaking on the advert, LadBaby himself Mark Hoyle said: "I’m really chuffed that Walkers gave me the gig this year. I feel like I’m living in a dream. It was great to work with the likes of Gary, Aled, Tony and Carol – as well as my lovely wife Rox – and bring our little festive tale to life, to encourage people to do good this Christmas and support the Trussell Trust, all while eating our delicious new sausage roll flavour crisps.

"We’re simply asking everyone to buy them, enjoy them and help us raise more money than ever before for the Trussell Trust.”

As the current reigning champion of the Christmas Number 1, LadBaby joins the only a handful of charity singles that have topped the UK Official Singles Chart during the festive period. No word yet on whether LadBaby are planning to release a new Christmas single for 2020.

Last year, their 2019 charity single We Love Sausage Rolls became the fastest-selling download on the Official Charts since Artists for Grenfell's chart-topping cover of Bridge Over Troubled Water. I Love Sausage Rolls gained a staggering 93,000 chart sales in its debut week.

And as ever, 2020 is full of musical acts releasing new Christmas music - including new, original releases this year from pop stars like Meghan Trainor, Ava Max and Liam Payne.

The sausage roll flavoured Walkers crisps are really sickening. Worst flavour ever.

I agree. Both his songs dropped from the top 20 after one week at #1 and had gone within one month. It's about time a Christmas song (old or new) was the UKs #1 on Dec. 25th.
