Billie Eilish to release second studio album Happier Than Ever on July 30

Billie Eilish is to release her new album Happier Than Ever this summer.

The 19-year-old's second studio album will be released on Friday July 30, as confirmed by the American singer on her Instagram page. The new single from the album will be available to download and stream from Thursday April 29.

"this is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it," Billie said in a statement. "i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel."

Billie had teased the album announcement earlier this week with a promotional video. Recent Top 10 singles My Future or Therefore I Am will appear on the tracklist, but her Number 1 James Bond theme No Time To Die is omitted.

Billie Eilish's debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go reached Number 1 on the UK's Official Albums in April 2019, making her the youngest woman to score a chart-topping album in UK chart history. When We All Fall Asleep... spent three non-consecutive weeks at the top, and rounded out the year as the biggest album by a female artist.

Billie Eilish is nominated for International Female Solo Artist at the 2021 BRIT Awards, alongside Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.
