Jonasu (real name Jonas David Kröper, born August 25, 1990 in Mannheim, Germany) is a German dance music producer and DJ based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Jonasu released his debut Let It Be Me ft. Naum in 2018 following his signing to electronic music label 3 Beat. Jonasu’s 2020 single Black Magic gained traction on TikTok in 2021 and subsequently entered the UK’s Official Singles Chart and Ireland’s Official Irish Singles Chart Top 50 as a result. Following sync play on ITV show Love Island, Black Magic reached the Official Singles Chart Top 50. Jonasu also co-wrote the song Post Malone which was recorded by Dutch DJ Sam Feldt and Dutch singer Rani and reached Number 10 on the UK’s Official Chart.
