ARLO PARKS

Arlo Parks (born Anaïs Oluwatoyin Estelle Marinho on August 9, 2000) is a British singer-songwriter and poet from Hammersmith, London. Half Nigerian, quarter Chadian and quarter French, her mother was born in Paris and as a result, Arlo learned to speak French before English. In 2020, Arlo Parks won the AIM Independent Music Award for One to Watch, was longlisted for the BBC Sound Of... 2020 and won BBC Introducing Artist of the Year. Other accolades for Arlo Parks include being on the cover of Music Week and NME magazines, and her track Black Dog being BBC Radio 1's Tune of the Week. Arlo Parks debut album Collapsed in Sunbeams reached Number 3 on the UK's Official Albums Chart and Number 1 on the UK's Independent Albums Chart.
