
NSG are a rap collective from East London consisting of Kruddz (born William Awotwe-Mensah, United Kingdom March 9, 1995), Mxjib (born Ayodeji Mujib Shekoni, in Nigeria, March 24, 1997), Mojo (born Matthew Temidayo Ojo in London October 31, 1994), OGD (born Dennis Awotwe-Mensah in London on May 13, 1997), Dope (born Patrick Jim Brew in Ghana, August 15, 1995) and Papii Abz (born August 17) who met at Islington’s Arts & Media School. NSG (it stands for Never Stop Growing) are all of either Ghanian and Nigerian descent and specialise in Afro-bashment, and released their first single Whine and Kotch in December 2013. NSG were soon taken under the wing of English rapper J Hus, and his producer Jae5 and scored their first chart single with Options featuring Tion Wayne in 2019. The collective also became the first ever Number 1 on the Official UK Afrobeats Chart when the Official Charts Company-compiled chart launched in July 2020.
