March is looking like another busy month for live music in Ireland, with huge homegrown acts and a host of international stars performing across the country. Here's a rundown of the biggest music events taking place in March.

Twenty One Pilots

The Columbus, Ohio rock duo are heading to the 3Arena as their Bandito Tour sweeps across Europe. Tyler and Josh recently released their fifth album Trench, which peaked at Number 2 on the Official Irish Albums Chart. News to get Stressed Out about (don't really, it's just a joke) is that the show is sold out, but if you head to the box office on the day (March 1), some returns may be available. That goes for any gig - there's a tip on us.

Fat Boy Slim

On March 2, Fat Boy Slim will headline the 3Arena as he brings his In The Round show to Dublin. Promised are "a big production, a revolving stage, rave ushers and a live smiley face experience", which sounds like a cocktail for a good time. Big hits and an amazing atmosphere, what's not to like? Tickets are still available here if you want a rowdy Saturday night with a difference.

Freya Ridings

If you're looking for something more soothing, Freya Ridings is also performing on March 2. The Londoner's haunting vocals will be on display at the Olympia Theatre.

Country 2 Country

Some of the world's biggest country artists have saddled up and are on their way to Dublin. Now in its sixth year, C2C takes place at the 3Arena between March 8-10 and includes headline performances from Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban and Chris Stapleton. Tickets are still available for all three shows.

Bastille

Fresh from their biggest ever global hit Happier with Marshmello, Bastille are heading to the Olympia Theatre on March 12 as part of their Still Avoiding Tomorrow tour. The band - whose latest album peaked at Number 2 in Ireland - will be supported by Scottish singer-songwriter ONR.

Drake

One of the biggest music artists on the planet is making himself at home in the 3Arena, playing three nights in the capital's flagship music venue from March 19-22. You can still grab tickets priced from €76 for the Assassination Vacation tour, which is in support of Drizzy's latest album Scorpion - his first ever Number 1 album on Irish soil. Fellow Canadian Tory Lanez supports.

Molly Sterling

Former Eurovision hopeful Molly Sterling has new music out and will be performing it live on the road. Hear Molly's new single Feeble and more at Whelan's on March 22.

Wild Youth

Celebrating the Top 5 debut for their first EP The Last Goodbye, Wild Youth are playing twice in March. The Choice Music Prize nominees will stop off at Cyprus Avenue on March 16, before playing the Olympia Theatre on March 23. Tickets are still available for the Cyprus Avenue date.

Picture This

Picture This' latest album MRDN LV just topped the Official Irish Albums Chart and spawned four Top 50 hits, so I guess the boys should celebrate, right? Ryan, Cliff, Jimmy and Owen are doing something even U2 haven't managed, a five-night, sold out residency at the 3Arena. They're the biggest band of the moment and rightfully so.

Keywest

After scoring their second Top 3 album in 2018, Keywest will be playing songs from True North on their European tour. The four-piece are headlining Olympia Theatre on March 29, and with the venue close to selling out, you'll need to be quick to get your tickets. Speaking of, they start at at €22.50.
