i can see why Billie didn't get #1 with my future this week maybe it should of been released in the future toward winter maybe! for more of massive week of streaming in week 1, that be more appropriate, This pace of song is very timeless but this is the holidays seasons of christmas and winter only from December to February to play, it got that vibe, "you can imagine relaxing in your chair, maybe with the heater or fire on, opening or eating chestnut or your winter meals or snacks, and have some wine, brandy or whisky, have this song on a vinyl player! in the background this is the winter life followed by Stuck with You by Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber

I am bummed that "Head & Heart" is on #1 and for 3 weeks. It really didn't deserve to be on No.1. Savage Love should have still been on No.1 instead of Head & Heart claiming it's first week on No.1. I couldn't even cope if "Head & Heart" stayed at No.1 for 3 more weeks. Totally disappointed. Is it bad for me to say that Watermelon Sugar could be No.1? I am just wondering about that because I am really not a fan of that song and it would be disappointing if it was on No.1. This my opinion btw which is same as "Head & Heart".

I'm absolutely buzzing about 'Head & Heart' remaining at #1, but I'm equally as excited to see 'Lighter' move into the Top 3! :D

It's such an insane week for EDM across the entire chart, haha.

Haha, this is definitely the most successful summer for EDM in year though, although I think Radio 1's 70 hour EDM show certainly helped with this chart! ;)

Yeah but that over streaming points of 70K with is ratio of audio streaming units, to be fair we should congratulate the Charity NHS single of the week of Garth Malone with You Are My Sunshine as it hit at the top at #1 on UK Charts of Official Sales, #1 Scotland and #1 UK Official Physical Singles of the week :)

I can't believe that song is only at #57 on the official chart! It deserved way better, but the achievements you've listed are all amazing. :)

yeah unfortunately this is the modern systems for radio 1 with ACR/SCR & streaming ratios/unit, i much prefer the classic way of counting the units and copies for singles, streaming ratio for radio 1 singles data uses streaming of playlists combined then what people search and play them self, i do listen to radio 1 charts but Scott mills does keep saying it the only one that counts, many times but he forgets about all official charts data/charts on the websites like sales and physical charts etc

I didn't, but I certainly plan on checking it out! :D

How are you doing anyway? Hopefully you're making the most of the good weather, haha.

I don't disagree with the fact that streams need to be included significantly into the chart formula (they make up like 95% of music consumption in the UK), but creating a chart rule that prevents album bombs entirely & knocks songs down the chart after just 10 weeks doesn't seem fair to me.

I've also been out in the sun a lot over the past few days! After all, it's not very often that we get this kind of heat, haha.

As for me, I'm hoping to get a temporary position doing support work in some secondary schools, but I'll also continue to look out for something more permanent! :)
