Jess Glynne, the British female solo artist with the most Number 1 singles in Official Charts history, has announced a comeback for 2023.

Following a career break of two years, it seems that Jess is ready to return, with her re-invigorated social channels wiped of all content posting a new, singular video; a 30-second long monochromatic teaser soundtracked by an industrial sounding electronic track - much harder and hip-hop influenced than her previous fare - with the repeated hook; "do you love me?"

The video ends with a sparse announcement: JG 2023, and Jess herself commented on the post that she would "see you next year."

Her last official music release came at the tail-end of 2020 with the festive single This Christmas, released as an Amazon Music exclusive, which managed to reach Number 3 on the Official Singles Chart.

And if the question is "do you love me?" to the British public then the answer to that would have been a resounding yes; Jess has seen incredible, record-breaking success on the Official Charts.

With seven Number 1 singles to her name, she is the British female solo artist with the most chart-toppers ever on the Official Singles Chart, overtaking previous record-holder Cheryl, who notched up five.

Jess released two studio albums under Atlantic Records; I Cry When I Laugh (2015) and All I Am (2018), both of which reached Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart too.

But new music also brings new change. Earlier this year, it was announced that Jess had parted ways with her long-time record label Atlantic. She's since been signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation for management, which is also home to Rihanna

She's definitely not the British female solo artist with the most Number 1, she's just a feature in a bunch of those songs, in no way she can be a solo artist when she's just a feature with Clean Bandit, Route 94, Tinie Tempah, Rudimental, the real artists with the number one
Let's stop the charade, she's a good vocalist, I'm not denyinf it, but she's not really the solo artist with all those number ones. So you better do your job Official charts
