Jax Jones announces new single Play featuring Years & Years

Jax Jones has confirmed that his new single will be released this week.

Out on Wednesday (November 28), Play features chart topping group Years & Years. Announcing the song, Jax shared a photo of he and Y&Y's frontman Olly Alexander.

Play will be Jax's first single featuring a male vocal in over two years. Since January 2017 when You Don't Know Me with Raye hit the Official Singles Chart Top 40, Jax has released a string of tracks with female stars, including Demi Lovato, Stefflon Don, Ina Wroldsen and Mabel.

The new collaboration tops off a fantastic 12 months for Years & Years. Their latest album Palo Santo reached Number 3 on the Official Albums Chart, while just last week, the three-piece hit the Official Singles Top 100 with Come Alive, their The Greatest Showman: Reimagined collaboration with Jess Glynne.
