Ivor Novello Awards 2022: Adele, Ed Sheeran, Dave and Inflo lead list of nominations

Adele, Ed Sheeran, Dave and Dean 'Inflo' Josiah Cover lead nominations for the 2022 Ivor Novello Awards.

The ceremony, which honours British and Irish songwriters and screen composers, will this year be held at London's Grosvenor House on Thursday May 19.

77 individual songwriters and composers are celebrated on the list, including Adele with two nominations, Ed Sheeran with three nods and Dean ‘Inflo’ Josiah Cover, who is this year’s most-nominated songwriter with four nominations.

This year sees five huge artists in the running for the coveted Songwriter of the Year award: Adele, Coldplay, Dave, Ed Sheeran and Raye. For the second year, members of The Ivors Academy will vote for their winner.
