Drake returns to Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart with Certified Lover Boy, denying Lil Nas X a chart-topping debut with Montero.

Drake’s latest record rebounds from 3 to 1 and leads on streams this week – though it was a tantalisingly close finish as fewer than 500 chart sales separate the Top 2 albums, with Lil Nas X’s debut studio collection leading on downloads.

Meanwhile, UK rapper Tion Wayne finishes at Number 5 with his debut record Green With Envy, landing just ahead of Bob Dylan’s Springtime In New York: The Bootleg Series Vol. 16 at Number 6. Springtime is Dylan’s 41st Top 10 album and claims the most physical sales of the week.

Legendary English rock band Genesis score their first Top 10 album in seven years with hits collection The Last Domino at Number 9, and Birmingham drill rapper M1llionz closes off this week’s Top 10 with his debut mixtape Provisional License.

Further down, Canadian metal group Spiritbox open at Number 19 with debut album Eternal Blue, while former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham bows at Number 25 with his self-titled seventh solo album.

Finally, nine-piece K-Pop boyband NCT 127 earn their first UK Top 40 album with their third Korean language album Sticker, which rounds off the chart at Number 40.

No offense to Drake...but what is so captivating in his music that people find it interesting...cuz I tried listening to him and it was bland to my taste. Lil' Nas X music is more interesting and tells a social message through his music..and his music videos are very creative and very big budget type with lots of cgi works. Imo he should have gotten his debut album #1 ..he worked so hard for it.

Where the are Daughty with Dearly Beloved?
Their best album since Baptized.
It's a disgrace they didn't even make the charts!

Lil Nas X will go #1 either next week or when CD’s and Vinyls come out. No doubt. People fuss too much over a debut.

Maybe when the CD's and Vinyls are out. I didn't buy digital album as I want the CD.

I'm from Portugal and I can't see what's about Drake that people like. Not that he is bad, he is OK but he ain't great either. Apparently many people agree with me as in Portugal Drake album peaked #43 (maybe after a physical release it will peak TOP 40).

Last week was already outrages to see Drake sell 2k pure sales to be #01 when #02 sold 42k.
This week I can't even describe! Drake album is not even inside TOP 100 UK Album Sales this week.
It looks like Spotify payola is paying of quite a big on chart numbers in UK, the country where streaming is worth more for charts than in any other country in the world.

Lil Nas X "Industry Baby" song peaked #01 in Portugal. The new album chart is not out yet but I'm pretty sure Lil Nas X will do good as "Industry Baby" was all week #01 on Portuguese Spotify and he had 15 songs inside TOP 100 almost during whole week.

How many PURE SALES did Drake had? Over 200 or less?
His album is not even inside TOP 100 ALBUM SALES!

Yet the #01 on Official Chart is not even inside the TOP 100 on actual sales. Could the joke be bigger?

Absolutely shocked that Lil Nas X didn't get the #1 album, but I'm happy to see Tion Wayne also finish the week in the Top 5 with him. :)
