Gimme Gimme Gimme another ABBA tribute album from Cher!

The legendary popstar is prepping a sequel to her 2018 hit release Dancing Queen, and announced her plans for the follow-up on Twitter.

When a fan tweeted Cher asking for her to say something that would make her smile, she replied: "nxt yr abba II". What's more, another fan asked if a Christmas album was in the works, and she simply replied: "Next year". Looks like 2019 is going to be a big year for Cher fans.

The confirmation comes a few days after the 72-year-old posted what ABBA classics she would like to cover should a second homage to the Swedish group be released. Now it looks like that fantasy tracklist will become a reality.

Dancing Queen peaked at Number 2 on the Official Albums Chart, becoming Cher's highest charting album in 26 years since 1992's Greatest Hits. She was held off the top spot by Sir Rod Stewart in the first time ever that the Top 2 was occupied by two artists over the age of 70.

Cher has the UK's best-selling single of all-time by a female solo artist, and is also the oldest female ever to score a UK chart topper. Click here to view Cher's full UK chart history.
