24kGoldn tops the Official Trending Chart with viral hit Mood
Mood by 24kGoldn is the top trending song of the week in the UK as it heads for potential Top 5 glory on the Official Singles Chart.
Rising six places on the latest chart update, Mood ft. Iann Dior is on its way to a Top 5 placing three weeks after it first entered the Top 100. The song has proved popular on social media, including TikTok, thanks to a popular dance challenge set to the hit. In the UK, Mood has already notched up 7.6 million video and audio streams.

24kGoldn makes a second appearance in the Official Trending Chart with a feature on Clean Bandit and Mabel’s Tick Tock, which is on track to make a big climb up this week's Top 40. The 19-year-old made his first chart appearance earlier this year when City of Angels reached Number 25.
Mood is Iann Dior’s first UK Chart hit, although he has released several albums and singles, including collaborations with Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly, Trippie Redd and Gunna.
Other big hits this week come from Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae’s You Broke Me First, following her performance on the MTV VMAs this weekend; and Airplane Mode by Nines ft. NSG, following the release of Nines’ third studio album Crabs in a Bucket - one of five eclectic contenders for this week’s Official Number 1 album. Also from the collection, Energy ft. Skrapz is Nines’ second feature on this week’s Trending Chart.
Finally, some brand new releases are already making an impact on the UK this week including Blackpink & Selena Gomez’s catchy collab Ice Cream, Calvin Harris' Over Now ft. The Weeknd, Bando Diaries by Dutchavelli, and Come Over by Rudimental ft. Anne-Marie and Tion Wayne.
