It couldn't escape if it wanted to… the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again cast recording returns to Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart for a fifth week.

Featuring covers of classic ABBA songs like Waterloo, The Name of the Game and Fernando, the musical movie collection was the biggest physical seller of the week, and finished 2,000 combined chart sales ahead of this week's biggest digital download, The Greatest Showman at 2.

While Ariana Grande's Sweetener is the most streamed album of the week, it retreats to Number 3 on this week’s Official Chart, while George Ezra's Staying at Tamara's (4) and Scorpion from Drake (5) hold firm.

New entries and high climbers

Interpol claim this week's biggest new entry with Marauder. The New York rockers' sixth album is their highest charting effort in 11 years, landing at Number 6. Marauder also tops this week's Official Vinyl Albums Chart.

Alice in Chains collect their first ever UK Top 10 album with Rainier Fog at Number 9, plus Post Malone's former chart-topper Beerbongs & Bentleys advances three to Number 10 after his Reading & Leeds Festival slot. His debut album Stoney also returns to the Top 40 at 34.

K-pop boyband BTS claim their third UK Top 20 album with Love Yourself: Answer at Number 14, while Panic! At The Disco vault 14 positions to Number 19 with Pray For The Wicked after their headline performances at Reading & Leeds Festivals. Gilbert O'Sullivan also appears in this week's Top 20 at 20 with his new self-titled record, his first Top 20 album of new material in nearly 44 years.

White Denim's Performance claim their second UK Top 40 entry at Number 25, and there's another new appearance for Stone Foundation as Everybody Anyone debuts at Number 30.

Finally, following his Diamond Anniversary celebrations this week, Michael Jackson's Number Ones notches up its 67th week in the Top 40, rising 19 places to Number 29.

'Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again' back to #1 is good! I'm just happy 'Sweetener' got at least some time at the top. :)
