Dua Lipa forced to cancel live shows following emergency dental work
Dua Lipa has been forced to cancel upcoming live shows after having her wisdom teeth removed.
Posting a video to Twitter this morning (March 14) showing off her swollen mouth, the two-time BRIT Award winner has confirmed that she is under doctor's orders to rest following emergency dental work.
Dua is currently supporting Bruno Mars on the Australasian leg of his 24K Magic tour, and her slot on two upcoming Brisbane shows are the first she has officially been ruled out from.
"I'm so sorry to have to cancel some of my support shows with @brunomars," explained Dua on Twitter. "I’ve been performing with an awful pain due to my wisdom teeth and as advised by my dentist and oral surgeon I have had to have them imminently removed."
We're glad the IDGAF singer does GAF about her teeth!
Dua's next headline UK shows kick off in a month's time, when she performs Glasgow's SSE Hydro Arena on April 12. She will also visit Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff before rounding out the tour at London's Alexandra Palace on April 20.
Dua Lipa's self-titled debut album recently reach a new Official Albums Chart peak of Number 3 following her BRIT Awards wins last month. She took home prizes in the Best British Breakthrough and Best British Female categories, while performing her smash hit single New Rules.
