Celine Dion is back.

The Canadian superstar has released new single Ashes, which was premiered on Good Morning America today (May 3).

Ashes is taken from the soundtrack to the upcoming anti-hero movie Deadpool 2, which is released on May 15. The soundtrack album, featuring classic songs by Cher, Dolly Parton and Peter Gabriel, will drop on May 18.

Ashes is Celine's first English-language single since September 2016 when she released Recovering, written for her by P!nk. Celine also recorded a cover of Queen's The Show Must Go On earlier that year, performed at the Billboard Music Awards in tribute to her late husband Rene Angelil.

Watch the hilarious video below, which sees Deadpool give us his best interpretative dance around Celine.

Celine's involvement in the Deadpool series was actually hinted at exactly one month ago. In a promotional video for online fundraising platform Omaze, Deadpool - played by Ryan Reynolds - is wearing a pink version of his suit and says: "My new obsession? Pink. The colour, not the pop singer. Personally, I'm more of a Céline kind of guy." This news was staring us in the face all along!

Across her career, Celine has scored 5 UK Number 1 albums, and has two million-selling Number 1 singles to her name. Check out Celine Dion's full UK chart history here.
