24kGoldn holds on to his chart crown as Mood extends its run at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart to a second week.

The track, which features rapper Iann Dior, logs another 55,000 chart sales this week, including 7 million streams, to keep its place at the top.

Mood finishes a comfortable 9,000 chart sales ahead of its closest competition, Cardi B’s WAP ft. Megan Thee Stallion (2), while three songs make big climbs in this week’s Top 10.

Watch 24kGoldn celebrate his first UK Number 1 single below:

Lemonade by production collective Internet Money ft. Gunna and Don Toliver lifts three places into the Top 5 at 5, and Miley Cyrus’ Midnight Sky jumps four spots to a new peak at Number 7.

Rising star Tate Mcrae celebrates her first Top 10 single with You Broke Me, lifting six places to Number 9. The song took off this summer and has been a slow-burner hit on the Official Chart, now in its tenth week climbing up the Top 100.

Clean Bandit’s Tick Tock ft. Mabel and 24kGoldn narrowly misses out on a Top 10 placing by just a handful of chart sales at Number 11, while What Do You Know About Love by late US rapper Pop Smoke zooms 13 places to Number 14.

This week’s highest new entry goes to South London duo Da Beatfreakz, who land at Number 20 with 808 ft. Dutchavelli. The track follows Top 40 hits Motorola with Swarmz and Deno (32), and Self-Obsessed with Krept & Konan, D-Block Europe and Deno (26).

Further down, Travis Scott's new single Franchise ft. Young Thug and MIA starts at Number 26, Mostack's new party-starter Miss Me ft. AJ Tracey opens at Number 39, and Machine Gun Kelly's Forget Me Too, taken from his brand-new album Tickets To My Downfall, bows at Number 40.

Outside of the Top 40, Everton FC football anthem debuts at Number 65, scoring the most downloads in the UK this week. More here.

I would love another song I like to be replace "Mood" on No.1. Sick and tired of it being No.1. Anyway, rappers shouldn't even have No.1s. I will stick with pop singers.

He's different and well deserving of a #1. If you dont like it, fine, but he deserves it!!

Sad to see 'Tick Tock' and 'Head & Heart' fail the top 10 tho it's really upset me :(

So frustrating that "Tick Tock" narrowly missed the Top 10 because of some stupid song :/

I disagree with your first point where you said you are happy with "Mood" being No.1 again. I take it the complete opposite.

I'm also really sad that 'Head & Heart' has fallen out of the Top 10 too, but hopefully 'Tick Tock' can finally get there this coming week. :)

So we're just going to let it do a 'Dancing In The Moonlight' then? :/

I hope it doesnt. I mean, its long no 1 artist, current no 1 artist and Mabel! At least the other was... Jabil? And NIOMY? Bangers tho both deserve top 10 especially since they're #11s!! Surely if Cardi B & Jason Derulo are top 10 Tick Tock deserves it??

I also like a little bit of Trap Music and Non-English Music

I follow some foreign language music myself. :)

All the best dance songs either get blocked at #2 or #11... well, 'Head & Heart' finally broke that trend over the summer! ;)

tbh I'm really proud of EDM seen as pretty much every EDM song to chart in the top 100 (minus a few) have gone big on the radio and gone top 40, and had longevity there even if doing bad in the chart.

2020 has been the most successful year for EDM in the charts since probably 2015! ;)
