Kenya Grace is a South African-born, British-raised singer, songwriter and producer. After making a name for herself with glitchy, self-made dance tracks that went viral on video sharing sites like TikTok, Kenya released her major label debut single, Strangers, in 2013. A dark dance-pop tune all about the pitfalls of cyclical relationships in the modern age, Strangers reached Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart in September 2023. When it did so, Kenya became only the second-ever British female solo artist to entirely write and produce a Number 1 hit, following Kate Bush on Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God).
Accepting her Official Singles Chart Number 1 Award for Strangers, Kenya said: " This has literally changed my life, 100%."
