The Smile is an offshoot group of Radiohead, comprised of band members Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, with the addition of drummer Tom Skinner.
Formed during the COVID-19 lockdowns, The Smile made their surprise debut appearance as a group in a performance streamed by Glastonbury Festival in 2021. Since then, they have issued two studio albums together; A Light for Attracting Attention (2022) and A Wall of Eyes (2024).
A Light for Attracting Attention debuted at Number 5 on the Official Albums Chart.
As members of Radiohead - one of the most experimental and acclaimed British bands of their generation - Yorke and Greenwood have previously claimed 6 UK Number 1 albums and 7 Top 10 singles.
